On August 25, the mobilization meeting for the commencement of key projects of Xianyang high tech Zone in August 2021 was held at the construction site of technical upgrade phase III projects of TC Aerospace. Many officials in Xianyang city and company management join the meeting, including Mr. Wang Fei (vice mayor), Mr. Ren Jie (deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People’s Congress), Ms. Chen Yonghui (vice chairman of the municipal CPPCC), Mr. Mao Jianrong (director of the Management Committee of Xianyang high tech Zone) and other members of the leadership, and Mr. Che Wei (general manager of TC Aerospace).
For the technical upgrade phase III project, TC Aerospace has a total investment of 350 million CNY and a new plant area of 22000m2. The projects brought in a set of 10000t four-column pull-down forging press and a set of 2500t forging press. The equipment have a high degree of automation. They are the latest and most advanced forging presses in the world under the same tonnage. They can realize the short-term process preparation of large tonnage and high-quality forgings, and solve the urgent demands of high quality large diameter titanium alloys for national major equipment and key models, providing more possibilities for iterative upgrading of high-end equipment manufacturing. At the same time, the titanium alloy recycled material process system in the project can reduce the cost and increase the efficiency of high-quality titanium alloy preparation process.

The project is expected to be completed in 2022, which can greatly improve the production level and supply capacity of high performance titanium alloys, and provide more convenient production line and platform for the R & D and upgrading of domestic titanium alloys. It will help to accelerate the technological innovation of titanium alloys and promote the development of domestic titanium alloys to a better level.
